What is Reimbursify?

Reimbursify is a technology company that helps you auto-submit claims to your insurance provider and track reimbursements along the way.

What are the benefits of using Reimbursify?

Reimbursify reduces the administrative work you will have to do to submit your claims. If you choose to use the service, Ember Health will upload your bills to Reimbursify directly, and you will confirm your visits in a series of clicks on the Reimbursify app.

Do I need to pay for these services?

No, Ember Health pays for the Reimbursify service for all of its patients.

We believe it’s the right investment to reduce the cost and administrative burden of treatment for our clients, thereby expanding access to care.

How does Reimbursify work?

If you are eligible for and decide to use this service, Ember Health will automatically upload your claims to the Reimbursify engine on your behalf.

You can download the Reimbursify app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. After each visit, the app will prompt you to click “yes” to confirm that you had a visit with Ember Health, and that you want them to submit your claim to your insurance company. The app will alert you when the claim has been received by your insurance company. You should expect your reimbursement check in the mail within 2-4 weeks.

You may opt-in or opt-out of using the Reimbursify service at any time.

Do I need to use Reimbursify if I want to submit claims on my own?

Reimbursify is an optional service for all Ember Health patients. You do not have to use this service, and you may submit reimbursement claims to your insurance company on your own if you’d prefer.

Please know that Ember will not be able to assist you with issues that come up from your insurance company. This means that we will not be able to help with denials or appeals that your insurance company might demand if you submit the bills yourself.

What are the next steps in this process?

If you are interested in the Ember Health / Reimbursify partnership, please opt into the Reimbusify service using this link.

After opting-in, please download the Reimbursify app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

After your first visit with Ember Health, Reimbursify should email you directly to complete their onboarding process. If you have not received an email within 48 hours of your visit, please email: Emberhealth@reimbursify.com

You can opt out of this service at any time.

What if I am an existing Ember Health patient and want to file previous claims?

If you are an existing client of Ember Health and would like to submit superbills for treatment charges incurred before you started using the Reimbursify service, you can do so anytime using the Reimbursify app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
