Ketamine Treatment: What’s Working and What’s Missing?

Online Event

Panelists: Melanie Malloy MD/PhD, Dominique Morisano PhD/CPsych, Gita Vaid MD

Moderated by: Kaylie Tejeda DNAP, CRNA

Ketamine treatment is currently entering a phase of popularity and increased promotion. There are many reports of significant success with ketamine in the treatment of depression, substance use issues, and trauma. But the speed of its increasing popularity seems to have left behind the discussion of risks, pitfalls, and possible negative outcomes. This panel will be reviewing the benefits, necessary accompanying protocols, and potentially harmful outcomes from a clinical and social perspective. Best practices for clinicians wishing to support clients receiving ketamine treatment will also be reviewed.

CEs: Additional $10 fee for social workers can be paid here, or you will be directed to the link after the payment on your confirmation page (please note that OASAS cross-honors CEs for CASACs)
